Peak District Walking Weekend
 |
For the last bank holiday in
May, Nimesh and I organised a group of friends to go walking in the Peak
District. We were really lucky with the weather and
managed to do hikes around Bleaklow, Kinder Downfall and Castleton.
I can't wait to do it again! |
Cans Festival
| If you're a fan of
grafitti, then you'll love the Cans Festival. The Cans Festival
takes place in Leake Street, near Waterloo Station and features a whole
tunnel of graffiti art including some by Banksy. |
Porsche vs. Ferrari Experience
|
Chrissy and
I did a Porsche vs. Ferrari experience at the Prodrive circuit near
Warwick in September 2008. Despite the
torrential rain, it was a lot of fun.
The winner
was definitely the Porsche Turbo. I definitely need one of those in my
life!

Weekend in Warwick
(plus a little of Stratford
Upon Avon)
 |
After doing
the Porsche vs.
Ferrari Experience on Saturday morning, Chrissy and I spent the
remainder of the weekend checking out Warwick, Warwick Castle and a little
bit of Stratford Upon Avon.
Despite the
terrible weather, we had a good weekend.

Glastonbury 2008!
| In June 2008, I accompanied
Wibby and her mates for five days of music and fun at the Glastonbury
festival. It was a real eye opening in terms of the sheer amount of
music to listen to, strange sights and even stranger tribes of people.

Flight Crew
 |
Chrissy and
I went to a friend's 40th fancy dress birthday party in
January. The theme was come
as what you wanted to be when you grew up.
I went as a
pilot and Chrissy as an airline hostess. While Chrissy looked
fabulous in her short dress, everyone told me I looked like a bus
conductor.

Barbican Centre Visit
 |
Neelam and I had a walk through the
city and checked out the Museum of Terrestrial Art Exhibition at the
Barbican Centre.
The exhibition was a bit weird but I had a good
time with Nee and managed to take a few good photos
like the one opposite.

Oliver's Christening
|
In
September, Dan invited me to be a god father to
Oliver, help with the christening and take lots of pictures
to remember the occasion.

New
Forest Weekend
|
|
In June, Chrissy and I went up to the New Forest to do
some walking and check out the forest's wild ponies that roam all over the
national park.
We also checked out a little bit of Beaulieu and
Buckler's Hard.

Learning To Dive In Egypt
|
|
A 20 year dream finally
realised - learning to scuba dive. And what a place to do it, the
Red Sea in Egypt!
I even got attacked ... by a clown fish.
Enjoy the photos. Nearly all of
them are underwater.

Lake District
Weekend
|
Over the Easter Weekend,
Chrissy and I went up to the Lake District to do some walking and attend a
friend's child's naming ceremony.
It was a great weekend of
walking, drinking friends, all kinds of weather ... and lots of glorious
snow!

Gerald Laing
Exhibition ... and a bit of Brick Lane
New York, New York
|
In late 2007, I managed to convince my bosses to
let me work from New York for a week. On the weekends, I
travelled around Brooklyn, Coney Island, Greenwich, Soho, Harlem and
several other places I can't remember. What a great city! In
all of my visits to New york, I could finally see myself living
there.
