Mount Nebo, Jordan

Mount Nebo is where Moses saw Israel for the first and last time.  God said that Moses would see Israel but never set foot in it.  He died somewhere around here and was buried here but no-one has ever been able to find where he was buried.  Cosas que pasan (shit happens in spanish).

Now a Greek orthodox church marks the spot and shares the same vista as Moses saw - Israel and Palestine.

The view of Israel and Palestine that Moses saw.  It was amazing just being here and looking at at all the Palestinian cities on the sign above ... Hebron, Bethlehem, Nablus, Jericho ...  places that you only here about on the news ... and the news is usually always bad.
