Syria was pretty much the highlight of my trip strangely enough. The main thing that stood out was how friendly the people were and how willing they were to talk about life and their views of what's happening in Israel and Palestine.

And they have some beautiful places to visit as well. We visited five places - Aleppo, Hama, Palmyra, Krak des Chevaliers and Damascus.
