Huacachina, Peru

About 5km west of Ica (nothing much), this tiny resort village nestles next to a small lagoon surrounded by huge sand dunes.  It's a nice place to relax if you want a few days off the beaten trail,  Jeremy and I couldn't be bothered however and just had a look. 

The Green Lagoon

Me and the lagoon.  Note massive sand dune in back ground.  People go sand boarding down them.  You can hire boards near the 'beach'.  Amazing.
