Hi guys
It maybe news to some but I'm still alive
and kicking.
Currently, I'm enjoying my retirement from
corporate life after being made redundant from JP Morgan Chase in January.
It happened about 3 days after I got back from Peru. I'm pretty
ecstatic about it. I wasn't enjoying working for JPMC - or the whole
concept of working to tell you the truth.
Now I've got the opportunity to do some
things I've always wanted to do.
I spent February hanging out with a cute French
Canadian girl I met on the tube, sleeping in late and packing up house.
It was amazing how quickly February passed by.
March was a full on month doing a Teaching
English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) course. I worked non stop day
and night preparing for lessons and completing assignments. I never
realised it would be such hard work. Still, it was worth it.
I'm now qualified to teach English (shudder).
I've also organised a 50 day tour of
Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Jordon and Egypt starting 18 April. Should
be fun....provided the whole area doesn't go up in flames.
Catch up with you all soon.
Simon
