Howdy Everyone
Since
the last edition, I've been taking it easy.
I've
had laser eye surgery done to
correct my right eye. I had LASIK done where they cut open your
cornea and reshape your eye. It took about 17 seconds in all and was
successful - although my eyes are still adjusting to the change.
Should be about right in a months time. Until then, no swimming
apparently. I guess losing one's cornea in the pool would be all
bad.
I've
also been to Dover for the weekend with Nancy. It was good to get out of
London and the weather was fantastic. Dover was okay too.
Other
than that, it's just been about have brunch, playing tennis and planning
my European motorcycle trip. So far the trip will last about 4
months and take it France, Corsica, Italy, Slovenia, Bosnia, Hungary,
Slovakia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Sweden, Germany, the Czech Republic,
Holland and Belgium. By that stage, I'll be well and truly sick of
travelling and will need to take a holiday.
That's it for now. I'm off on my 7
week tour of Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Jordon and Egypt starting tomorrow.
I don't get back till early June.

Holiday Haircut
I've always wanted to shave my head and I've finally
done it. Prior to the near chrome dome below - I had a "Taxi
Driver" style Mohawk for a few minutes. The hairdresser was in hysterics.
