Autoworld
Brussels,
Belgium, March 2005
After the
Military Museum,
I checked out the Autoworld car museum. It was an amazing place full of famous
cars ... Bugattis, Talbots, BMWs, Fords, Cords, etc. All good.

Funny little French/Belgium car with one head light

Model T ... or something similar

Wheelchair or car? Check out the 1907 Cadillac on
the right. A bit different to the one's today.

Talbot?
I've always loved the front of these cars. Great curves.
1920 - 1940s

Austin 7s or derivatives of.

Tricycle with engine out the front.

Close-up of engine.

MG?

Big Packard or something. These cars are huge.

1930 Bugatti. Not a type 35 but still gorgeous in Bugatti Blue

Pre-war
racer. All engine and no ABS, airbags or seatbelts in sight.

A 1936/37 Cord 810 or 812 Sedan. One of my all time
favourites. I love the
nose and the huge silver exhaust pipes coming out of the engine bay.
Pure automotive art.

Check out the design detail.

1950s onwards

A Citroen DS. One of the most beautiful cars ever made ... and very
technologically advanced for the time with it's hydromatic suspension and
other innovations. 'DS' is a corruption of the french word for goddess.

Bugatti. No idea what it was. Possibly a
one off design study.

Little scooter. Tres cool.

Matra

BMW Isetta

Hard to believe people hooked upa caravan and went
travelling with these thing. Must be slightly kinky as it looks like they
have a blow up sex doll in the back of the car. Definitely must be
Germans.

Messerschmitt bubble car

Bathtub car. I vaguely remember it was a post war
italian car. The Italians have sure come a long way!
