Castleton
Second May
Bank Holiday Weekend 2009
On our final day, we did a
short 2-3 hour 7km walk near Castleton.
Castleton lies on the great
geological divide of the Peak District, at the northernmost extremity of
the limestone White Peak where it dips into the shales and grits of the
Dark Peak (where Bleaklow and Kinder Scout are).
A nice pretty walk before
heading back to London.
