Kinder Downfall

Second May Bank Holiday Weekend 2009

On the second day, we scored big with the weather for our 13 km 5-6 hour hike up to Kinder Scout (highest point in Peak District) and back.  This was by far the best walk of the weekend.

Kinder Downfall

Old sheep wash pool.  Haven't seen one of these before!

The gang minus Dave and Anne who decided to take the day off.  Honorata is clearly touched by the holy spook.

My sheep.  Here's how to hypnotise a sheep.

And her lamb.

Feeding my sheep some apple cores.  It was amazing how tame and savvy they were about getting choice treats from tourists.
